Sacramento and Lassen Volcanic National Park (6/19/17-6/21/17)

This is the start of a 10 day trip we’re taking to Oregon and Washington. Our first day we drove from Bakersfield to Sacramento and stayed at Sac West RV park. It was hot (109 because of a heatwave) but definitely fun! The park is right on a river and you can rent paddle boats and go out on the river. We were in site 76 which is at the back of the par and close to the river. They also have a pool and playground for the kids. I would definitely stay there again.


Next day we went to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We entered in the south entrance and we come to find out that the road through the park was still closed due to snow and we couldn’t drive through the park and see everything and get to our campsite and Manzanita lake. We stamped out National…
