Yorkshireman Down Under

With the Easter holidays upon us, it was decided the first weekend would be spent in Toowoomba. A countryside city a couple of hours west from Brisbane near a mountain range. The time there was spent exploring what the city has to offer with the parks, gardens, street art and local walks. The highlight of the time there was climbing Table Top Mountain, which, to our surprise actually included some climbing. We were naive to think it would just be a walk up a path. It certainly looked that way from Picnic Point, a few miles away. The views from the top were worth the climb and it gave a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. We were glad to only spend 3 days there as there is not much more to do there. Nonetheless, a nice little getaway.

The next few days were spent exploring the local tourist…
