When did Americans stop caring for each other?


It seems that the awesome title of being an American, is losing some of its luster. The ideas that have shaped our great nation are disappearing right before our eyes. I have been thinking very hard about the reasons for this problem, and I believe I have come up with a possible answer. The morals and principles that formed the backbone of being an American are almost completely gone… or maybe I am just getting old? When I was young, you could borrow things you needed from your neighbors…. now they won’t even answer the door.

Look around you, the symptoms of this regression are everywhere. It can be seen in almost every aspect of our lives.
