THE REAL HIDDEN BEAUTY

I want to talk to you today about my thoughts on beauty.

We have all looked at people, objects, and the countryside and have seen beauty in them, but can they be made to look even better? Or the question should be “Is it necessary to make them look better”?

I have been blogging since 2010 and I have written hundreds of beauty post, but today I wanted to write one about my true thoughts about beauty and how I define it, and how beauty products play their role in that.

Now I have to be honest, I have looked at the pretty girl walking past me in the street and thought how stunning she looks, and then the next girl walks by and I don’t give her a second glance, now that doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with the second girl, but they do say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  or is it because from the moment that we are old enough to understand we are fed a continuous stream of stereotype images of what beauty is meant to be.

THE ROLE OF THE BEAUTY PRODUCT

Make-up to some people is the be all and end all of everything they live for, in fact, it’s so important to them it’s like a part of their physical anatomy. To me, beauty products should be used to highlight what everyone already has, or may be used but not solely used to boost your confidence, but under no circumstances should it be used because you think you are ugly without it. Am not going to start writing unrealistic dribble, because after everything is said and done it’s a sad fact that the majority of us like to see attractive faces and stunning bodies just like the ones on tv, in the magazines, and on the beauty products we buy.

What I would like to see is people buying and wearing make-up because they like it and not because they feel they need it, I would love for people to use make-up for what it is intended for, to tempory change or enhance the way we look, it was never intended to be a replacement for our biological makeup.

I think we are all beautiful people, and all of us in different ways, and we should enjoy our beauty products, BUT WE SHOULD NEVER DEPEND ON THEM.

Thanks for reading this post guy’s, I hope you enjoyed it. I would love to know your opinion so please leave a comment in the box below, and please share this with your friends.

have a great day

Tanya Burr- Birthday Suit Eye shadow Palette Review!

Lashes Love & Laughter

Being a massive lover of Youtube and of course being a long-term subscriber of Tanya Burr, I though it was about time that I tried some of her make up products. I went into my local super drug store, as that’s where Tanya’s products are stocked here in the UK. I didn’t really know what I was going to get, however I came out with this eye shadow palette that I’m reviwing today and a couple of lip products. Today I’m just going to be reviewing the Birthday Suit Eye Palette, giving you my opinion on the overall product, if its worth the money that sort of thing.

The Eye shadow Palette Design

I think the packaging is really pretty, its rose gold in colour with tiny little polka dots on and has a silver scalloped edging around the box. Inside there is a heart-shaped mirror, (which always comes in…

Don’t know why but we just did.

Everyday Eyes

The Sparkling Cupcake

I like to vary my make up, but when you’re up early for work, sometimes, you just need a go to look that is easy, polished, and professional. What I love about the look that I’ve been reaching for virtually daily is that it is easy to do, but a simple formula that works with a variety of palettes and colors.

Overall, the look is very polished and the intensity can be changed with a variation of eye shadows.  I start with a neutral, matte shadow as a base every my lid (the Tartelette palette is an excellent option).  Next, I move on to defining the crease, which is find is what really makes this look start to pop.  I will use a light, neutral brown shade with a matte finish for this step.  I may layer a lighter shade and a slightly deeper shade to have as a transition…

Transient Substance

Arianna Rose

WordPress’s Daily Post released their latest Weekly Photo Challenge with the theme of transience. So in thinking about the things that are fleeting in my life, my mind went to my makeup drawer. Something I can always count on to be transient is lip gloss. Unlike the majority, I prefer it over lipstick. This particular set is from a special rose-scented collection. The streaks from the inside of the bottles show their constant use and, unfortunately for me, they’re nearly empty. What transient substances they hold.

Thank you for reading! Please like, comment, subscribe, and share! Until next time,
